Generator Controls
Our Generator Controls can be designed for any generator up to 100 MW, regardless of the prime mover. Each generator control system is custom designed according to the user’s specifications. Typical generator controls include brushless excitation control, generator protection, synchronizing and other features for parallel operation, and power monitoring.

Generator Excitation, Protection and Control
  • Automatic voltage regulation with Basler excitation controls or AVR provided by generator manufacturer
  • Generator protection relays from SEL, GE Multilin, Beckwith and ABB
  • Automatic and manual synchronizing for parallel operation with the electric grid or other on-site generators
  • Generator controls for isolated generators including VAR load sharing among multiple generators
  • Power monitoring
  • Intuitive operator controls
  • Ethernet communications and hardwired signals for integration with prime mover controls and plant electric control systems
  • Full drawing sets according to final user specifications
  • World-wide field service for training, commissioning and service
